Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in East London, are looking for an experienced SEND Operations Lead to join their team and play a crucial role in their SEND operations.
Position: SEND Operations Lead
Rate: £347.67 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (Dec 2026) Possible Extension
Purpose:
- To work in partnership with parents/carers, young people, education, health and care services, commissioners and information services in the integrated and joint delivery of statutory SEND processes and SEND provision, duties and services for special educational needs and through efficient delivery systems and processes.
- To organise and manage SEND operations on behalf of the Council.
- To have oversight of the current and projected provision requirements for children and young people with SEND.
- To minimise anxiety for parents/carers of children and young people
through excellent, timely and transparent clear communication about statutory processes.
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Qualified to Degree level or to demonstrate substantial level of experience in SEND.
- Evidence of wide ranging and relevant continued professional
development.
