Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority based in East London, are looking for an experienced RICS Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role within their Housing & Property Maintenance operations.
Position: RICS Surveyor
Rate: £450 per day (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temp (April 2027) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties, documenting disrepair in line with legislation and standards.
- Diagnose building defects and provide expert recommendations to resolve housing condition claims.
- Prepare comprehensive Schedules of Disrepair, outlining defects, causes, and remedial works.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- RICS qualification - Essential.
- Proven experience in surveys and preparing Schedules of Disrepair for legal cases.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
