Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Property Information Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Property and Estates services.

Position: Property Information Officer

Rate: £375 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Contract Duration: Temporary (Aug 2026) Possible Extension

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Purpose: To act as Council’s property information officer, providing advice and guidance on the effective capture and storage of property records.

Job Duties:

  • To advise on policies, procedures and documentation, relating to the processing of property data.
  • To ensure the Council meets its obligations with regards to the storage and register of land and building assets.
  • To be responsible for the property information systems, data entry and reporting arrangements.
  • To monitor compliance with the service’s retention schedules and to ensure that data remains up-to-date and is destroyed when necessary and in accordance with legal requirements.
  • To oversee the establishment and maintenance of the property data and asset register systems.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • Obtained GCSE or equivalent standard passes at grade C or better in English and Maths.
  • Advanced level of qualification (e.g. A levels or equivalent).
  • Good working knowledge of property records including title deeds, land registry records and tenancy records including leases, licences and associated legal agreements.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
