Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a client in Southeast London, are looking for an experienced Project Officer (Spatial Planning) to join their team and play a crucial role in their spatial planning projects.
Position: Project Officer (Spatial Planning)
Rate: £32.37 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (Sep 2026) Possible Extension
Purpose:
- Planning policy technical support for the partial review of the Local Plan. Coordinating the collation and presentation of the Main Modifications and notes so that they can be presented to the Planning Inspectors as part of the Examination into the partially revised Local Plan.
- To manage and support projects with a focus on the production of the Local Plan and other spatial planning documents and projects on time, to a high quality and to budget, as set out in the Local Plan Programme.
- This includes research, enabling consultation and activities needed for continuous development of policy and guidance documents.

- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Good communication and organisational skills. along with Managing public enquiries (Court Cases).
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
