Position: Occupational Therapist
Rate: £44,937.00 per annum
Contract Duration: Permanent
Essentials:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant Degree/Diploma
- Registered with HCPC
- Experience working with vulnerable adults
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation
Purpose:
Working with adults with a range of needs, supporting their independence, dignity, and wellbeing through specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
- Manage caseloads and complete complex and functional assessments
- Recommend and arrange specialist equipment and property adaptations
- Review and update care plans with service users and carers
- Support independence through appropriate care packages and referrals
- Follow safeguarding, Health & Safety, and best practice guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvements
