Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Pensions Team Leader to join their team and play a crucial role in their pensions operations.
Position: Pensions Team Leader
Rate: £47.57 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension
Purpose: To support the Pensions Manager in managing the day to day operation of the Retained Pension Client Service, which includes monitoring the pension administrator’s performance against set criteria.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain your expert knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Regulations, Teachers Pension Scheme (TPS), Discretionary Payments Regulations, the State Pension Scheme, and HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and The Pensions Regulator requirements in respect of pensions.
- Support the Pensions Manager in managing the day to day operation of the Retained Pension Client Service, which includes monitoring the pension administrator’s performance against set criteria.
- Manage and make sound decisions for delivery of the customer service function for inhouse pension service.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- At least 1 year experience within a Pensions Team Leader role or equivalent.
- Passes in GCE/GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
