NEC Developer in London

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Northwest London, are looking for an experienced NEC Developer to join their team and play a crucial role within their housing services.

Position: NEC Developer
Rate: £550 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (Nov 2026) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Purpose:

• A technical role focused on managing, configuring, and improving the NEC Housing platform (formerly Northgate Housing).

Job Duties:

• Lead the configuration, design, testing, and deployment of NEC Housing modules (e.g., Repairs, Rents, Allocations).
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support for the NEC platform, translating user requirements into functional system improvements.
• Improve customer service efficiency by updating system processes in line with current council policies and statutory obligations.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Good understanding of local authority housing business processes (Repairs, Rents, Service Charges).
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
