Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Lawyer (Contracts, Construction & Procurement) to join their team and play a crucial role within their Law Operation
Position: Lawyer (Contracts, Construction & Procurement)
Rate: £55 ph Umbrella
Contract Duration: 6 months possible extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Duties:
- To undertake advocacy on behalf of the Local Authority in courts and tribunals, where this is part of the work of the team.
- To draft complex reports and legal documentation.
- To use the case management system and to record the chargeable hours per annum required for the post or such other outcome focused targets as may be set by the Head of Service or Director of Legal and Governance.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
- Experience working in a Lawyer (Contracts, Construction & Procurement) or similar role
