Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, an educational institute in Southwest London, are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join their team and play a crucial role within their Human Resources operations.
Position: HR Manager
Rate: Β£40 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temp (Dec 2026) with Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Fully Office Based
Purpose:
- Lead day-to-day human resources functions and operations across group.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage casework, performance management, absence management, and organisational change.
- Manage employee relations, overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- The role involves advising managers on performance management, absence management, and disciplinary and grievance matters, while promoting fair and inclusive practices.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources management, including employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements within the education or public sector.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
