Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Housing Income Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their income management operations.
Position: Housing Income Officer
Rate: £31 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Purpose: Provide all income management functions of the Council as far as they affect tenants to achieve the Council’s housing objectives and the priorities of the Council.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide an income management service for all tenants of the Council’s General Needs and Independent Living properties.
- Provide advice, assistance and information to tenants and the general public by way of office interviews, home visits, telephone calls, written correspondence and e-mail, efficiently and courteously with particular emphasis on customer care.
- Advise tenants on appropriate payment methods such as standing orders, direct debits, online payments, etc. In particularly encourage the take up of Direct Debit Mandates.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- At least 1 year experience within a Housing Income Officer role or equivalent.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
