Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Home Buy Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their home ownership services.

Rate: £26 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Duration: Temporary (6 Months) with Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Right to Buy process is followed within the statutory timeframes.
  • Administer sales process for alterations, lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, and freehold transfers.
  • Maximise revenue collection.
  • Present Council’s position in instances where RTB valuations appealed.
  • Administer the leasehold aftersales (LAS) process for additional space by taking payment for valuation, instructing valuations, managing appeals, and completing sales at the most optimal rate.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • At least 2 years’ experience within a Personalised Commissioning Officer role or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Good general level of education.
  • Knowledge of all forms of affordable housing.
