Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South East London, are looking for an experienced HGV Driver to join their team and play a crucial role within their Food Operation.

Position: HGV Driver

Rate: £17.62 ph Umbrella

Contract Duration: 3 months

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Duties:

  • Supervise and lead a team of Waste Operatives providing waste collection services.
  • Ensure special or bulky waste items are moved and loaded in accordance with good health & safety practice.
  • Deliver waste to the appropriate site for disposal/processing, ensuring all site delivery, transportation and unloading rules and regulations are followed.

Job Requirements:

  • HGV License
  • Previous experience working as a HGV Driver or similar role
  • Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
