Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in South London, are looking for an experienced Head of Integrated Commissioning & System Development to join their team and play a crucial role in their commissioning operations.
Position: Head of Integrated Commissioning & System Development
Location: South London
Rate: £500 a day (Umbrella)
Contract: 3-4 months (Possible Extension)
Hybrid: 2 days in the office
Duties:
- Leading the development and implementation of the integrated commissioning approach for adults/children.
- Overseeing the delivery of approaches to commissioning that address personalisation and whole person pathways.
- Leading staff across the system to implement transformational change including further integration of health, care & other forms of support.
- Continued design and implementation of our integrated commissioning framework.
- Implement effective management of budgets used to commission the relevant health, care and joint services for adults/children.
Job Requirements:
- Educated to post-graduate diploma level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience.
- Substantial experience of facilitating and leading co-production and innovation across all commissioning functions.
- Thorough knowledge of legislation relevant to the role, which may include the Children Act 1989, the Health and Care Act 2022, the Care Act 2014, the Children’s and Families Act 2017, and the Mental Health Act 1983, Deprivation of Liberties etc.
- Sound awareness of the needs of vulnerable residents e.g. MH/older adult MH/Autism/Complex Care needs/ PD/ Sensory/LD / older persons - those who are ageing /Children and young people/SEND.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service is essential for this role.
