Garages Surveyor in London

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Garages Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role within their property services.

Position: Garages Surveyor
Rate: £443.26 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (Jul 2026) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Purpose:

• To assist with the management of the Council’s garage portfolio to ensure it is well maintained, efficiently let and effectively managed, maximising income while delivering a responsive, customer-focused service to residents and other users.

Job Duties:

• Ensuring maintenance needs are managed and that there are regular inspections undertaken of the commercial portfolio.
• Identifying sites which are suitable for redevelopment and bringing forward for development or disposal.
• Deal efficiently with enquiries for garages from Council tenants, residents of the borough and others in accordance with the Council’s Customer Care Standards.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Degree or equivalent level qualification in relevant subject or relevant experience (e.g. surveying, building, business management).
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
