Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Financial Support Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Finance Operation
Role: Financial Support Officer
Pay: £28.27 ph Umbrella
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract Length: 3 months rolling
Location: West London
Responsibilities:
- Assess applications across resident financial support schemes ensuring decisions are accurate, timely and fully evidenced to meet policy and audit requirements.
- Gather, verify and analyse financial and personal information,taking the initiative to ensure eligibility decisions are based on complete and accurate evidence and a full understanding of the resident’s circumstances by taking ownership of determining what evidence is required in the circumstances and assessing the information provided or sourced.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and Council requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
- Experience working in a Financial Support Officer or similar role
