Family Link Keyworker in London

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in Southeast London, are looking for a Family Link Keyworker to work in the Children with Disabilities Team.

Position: Family Link Keyworker
Rate: £20 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 months
Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 from home.

Purpose:
Working directly with children and families, in the Children with Disabilities team, holding your own caseload of children and young people.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of services.
• Develop positive working relationships with children based on meaningful partnerships to effect positive changes in social emotional behaviour.
• Act as key worker to provide a consistent point of contact for a nominated child/young person and/or their families.
• Work in partnership with families and carers to promote change that will lead to better outcomes for young people.
• Develop professional relationships with a wide variety of other organisations to work together to meet the needs of the young person.
• Contribute to reports and maintain accurate records.

Job Requirements:
– Previous experience working as Family Support Worker.
– In-depth knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
– Multi-agency working, and maintaining close relationships.
– Record keeping, report writing, and managing own caseloads
