Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Environmental Control Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Marketing Operation
Position: Environmental Control Officer
Rate: £26.13 p/h PAYE
Contract Duration: 6 months with Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Duties:
- To carry out, or supervise contractors, in environmental sampling, surveys and assessments in relation to air, water, soil, noise and other media.
- To give expert advice in relation to environmental pollution or control matters to internal partners, clients and external stakeholders, giving briefings and attending meetings or working groups as required.
- Ensure that all communications meet statutory guidelines and adhere to the relevant legal and voluntary controls on local government publicity
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Environmental Control Officer or similar role
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
