Are you an experienced children's social care professional with a strong understanding of safeguarding? Our client is looking for suitable candidates for a Child Protection Chair opportunity.
Position: Child Protection Chair
Location: East London
Purpose of the Role
To support effective child protection practice and multi-agency working, keeping children's safety and welfare at the centre of decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
- Support effective child protection planning and review processes.
- Work with professionals across relevant agencies.
- Keep children's safety and welfare central to discussions and decisions.
- Promote clear communication and appropriate follow-up of safeguarding actions.
Job Requirements
- Previous CP Chair or IRO experience is a must
- Relevant children's social care and safeguarding experience.
- Strong understanding of child protection processes.
- Experience working with professionals across agencies.
- Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills.
