Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Content Designer to join their team and play a crucial role in their seamless user journey experience operations.
Position: Content Designer
Rate: £315 per day (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temp (Nov 2026) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Purpose:
- Content Designer to join a multi-disciplinary agile team dedicated to making local government services simpler, clearer, and faster.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design with Data: Use evidence, user research, and performance data to make informed content decisions.
- Use everything from paper sketches to digital prototypes to visualise content in context and show the "why" behind your work.
- Work across government departments to influence stakeholders, build consensus, and ensure the user’s voice is never lost in translation.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of professional experience specifically as a
Content Designer. - Proven experience working as a Content Designer within the UK Public Sector (Local or Central Government).
- Significant experience working in multi-disciplinary teams (alongside developers, designers, and researchers) within an Agile environment.
