Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Conservation Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Food Operation.
Position: Conservation Officer
Rate: £286.12 per Day
Contract Duration: 12/25/26
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Duties:
- To contribute to the continued enhancement of the design quality and sustainability of new development in the area through effective negotiation and assisting in the team’s management.
- To be responsible for ensuring that all tasks associated with the post are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and adopted local, regional and national planning policy and guidance.
- Provide a consistent, timely and effective service regarding all design and conservation related matters to Development Management and ensure effective liaison with other officers on specific planning and design related projects.
Job Requirements:
- High level of autonomy and productivity in processing and advising on conservation and design matters.
- Previous experience working as a Conservation Officer or similar role.
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
