Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Local Authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Complaints & Information Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their Children and Education Operations.
Position: Complaints & Information Manager
Rate: £329.87 a day
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Duties:
- Manage the operational delivery of all Children Act complaints, corporate complaints, information requests, and Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman enquiries in the Children & Education Directorate.
- Ensure service delivery meets statutory deadlines and quality standards, while supporting the Head of Service in identifying trends for service improvement.
- Act as the primary operational lead for the team, ensuring compliance with the LGSCO code and Data Protection legislation.
Job Requirements:
- Detailed understanding of the framework within which the Children & Education Directorate operates, including legislation, regulations, Government guidance and requirements of professional bodies.
- Previous experience in a Complaints & Information Manager or similar role.
- Degree or relevant professional qualification, or equivalent recent and relevant experience.
