Position: Commercial Vehicle Technician
Rate: £39,276 per annum
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Job Purpose: This pivotal role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
Job Duties:
- Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on commercial vehicles including trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and service procedures according to manufacturer specifications.
- Utilise advanced technical expertise to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, perform routine inspections, and execute preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed on vehicles.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician, preferably at Level 3 or equivalent.
- NVQ 3 or IMI 3 Heavy Motor Vehicle qualification or equivalent.
- Qualified Commercial Vehicle Inspector (VOSA accreditation).
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems specific to commercial trucks and heavy vehicles.
- Up to date MOT test qualification and the ability to drive class 2 vehicle.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
