Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Civil Enforcement Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Enforcement Operations
Role: Civil Enforcement Officer
Pay: £18.42 ph PAYE
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Contract Length: 3 months rolling
Location: East London
Responsibilities:
- Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 for fly-tipping, commercial waste breaches, littering, and illegal street trading.
- Enforcing borough-wide restrictions against anti-social behaviour (ASB), public drinking, and dog fouling.
- Inspecting local premises (such as shisha lounges or retail outlets) for smoke-free laws, noise nuisance, and health and safety violations.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
- Experience working in a Civil Enforcement Officer or similar role
- Driving License Required
