Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in East London, are looking for a Social Worker to work within Children’s Services.

Position: Senior Social Worker

Rate: £39.04 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Duration: 3–6 Months

Purpose: Managing own caseload of children and young people, delivering effective interventions to safeguard and promote their welfare.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct working with children and families, managing own caseloads.
  • Undertake assessments, care planning and reviews.
  • Work with children in need, child protection and looked after children.
  • Promote permanency planning and positive outcomes for children.
  • Work collaboratively with multi agency professionals.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have 3 years experience within Children’s Services.
  • Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, CSS, MSc or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and legislation.
