Childrens Social Worker in London

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based just outside of London, are looking for a Social Worker to work within Children’s Services across Family Safeguarding, Assessment and Looked After Children Teams.

Position: Social Worker
Rate: £42 per hour
Contract Duration: 3 Months

Purpose:
Provide reliable effective social work help and intervention to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in need.

Job Responsibilities:

• Direct working with children and families, undertaking assessments to identify needs, strengths and risks.
• Achieve strong outcomes for children and young people whilst working with partners to monitor progress and deliver support.
• Support with caseloads, care plans, safeguarding concerns and child protection investigations.
• Chairing statutory meetings to provide practice guidance.

Job Requirements:

• Must has substantial experience working within a UK statutory children’s services setting.
• Enhanced DBS – Registered to the update service (preferably)
• Registered with Social Work England
• Recognised Social Work Qualification
