Building Maintenance Surveyor in London

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Southeast London, are looking for an experienced Building Maintenance Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their property maintenance operations.
Position: Building Maintenance Surveyor
Rate: £29.53 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Purpose:

• To ensure that responsive repairs are carried out to a high standard in accordance with specification and high residents’ satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• To ensure that new build handovers are free of defects and completed to a high standard.
• To ensure that fibre optic broadband and mobile phone mast installation works to the housing stock are completed to high quality and fire safety standard.
• Carryout post inspection of responsive repairs works to ensure work conforms to specification, health and safety standards and contract condition.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• RICS/MRICS qualification or equivalent (HND diploma).
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
