Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Bricklayer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Trades Operation
Role: Bricklayer
Pay: £21.66 ph PAYE
Working Arrangement: Fully onsite
Contract Length: 4 months rolling
Location: East London
Responsibilities:
- Executing minor and major repairs to brickwork, blocks, lintels, and cavity walls on occupied and empty (void) council properties.
- Rebuilding or repairing external boundary walls, public pathways, manhole surrounds, and handling decorative or security fencing.
- Diagnosing moisture entry issues, replacing damaged damp proof courses (DPC), and structural repointing.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
- Experience working in a Electrician or similar role
- Driving License + Enhanced DBS
- An NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying (or equivalent City & Guilds qualification) is a standard baseline requirement.
