Are you eager to land a brand new permanent role? Our client, a local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing operations.
Position: Assistant Project Manager
Rate: £30.47 p/h (Umbrella)
Contract: 3 months (Possible Extension)
Work Style: Hybrid Working
Duties:
- Work with project managers to assist in delivering projects, process improvement, finance monitoring and reporting.
- Developing and maintaining all project documentation including business cases, finance documentation, project initiation documents, project plans, risk and issue logs.
- Analyse and make recommendations on consultant/contractor finance and cost proposals.
- Assist with validating project and contractor valuations and final accounts, to ensure budgets are well managed
- Use data, analysis, and resident input to design and deliver projects that improve the quality of homes and the wider neighbourhood for residents.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience within an Assistant Project Management position or equivalent.
- Certificate of PRINCE2, Agile, Lean SixSigma or other project management qualification.
- Proven track record of supporting projects within a local authority or another public sector organisation.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent project management skills and lead projects as delegated.
