Multi Agency & System Leadership

  • Support with development of new team pathways and systems to support neighbourhood working.
  • Contribute to multi agency work involving NHS partners, acute hospitals, mental health services, housing, police, community and voluntary sector agencies.


Leadership, Supervision & Practice Development

  • Provide professional supervision to social workers, social care practitioners, and developing practitioners.
  • Provide coaching/ mentoring/role model to new teams through organisational transformation – proactively supporting team members to work differently

Performance, Data Literacy & Management Dashboards

  • Use management performance dashboards to monitor caseload activity, statutory timescales, safeguarding performance, and other KPIs, i.e. Care Act assessment, Carer Assessments, Reviews.
  • Translate performance data into clear insights for practitioners and managers, supporting early identification of risk, drift, or practice pressures.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and evidence based practice by modelling strong data informed decision making.


Advanced Professional Practice

  • Support staff to undertake and maintain Care Act duties, Mental Capacity Act duties, best interest processes, Continuing Healthcare assessments, carers assessments and complex adult safeguarding enquiries.
  • Provide expert practice guidance and specialist interventions for adults accessing adult social care.


Safeguarding Manager-Level Responsibilities

  • Act as a Safeguarding Adults Manager, providing senior oversight and professional decision making on adult safeguarding concerns and enquiries.
  • Provide consultation and direction to practitioners on Section 42 criteria, enquiries, risk assessment, protection plans, and multi-agency safeguarding processes.
  • Chair safeguarding meetings, ensuring the adult’s voice, rights, and outcomes remain central to processes.
  • Ensure safeguarding practice is compliant with London Multi-Agency guidance.


Inclusive Recruitment, Workforce Development & Culture

  • Actively contribute to inclusive recruitment processes, i.e., diverse panels, values based interviewing, fair selection, bias aware decision making.
  • Help ensure recruitment and workforce processes are inclusive, reflect anti racist, anti discriminatory principles and support diverse representation at all levels.
