Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking for an Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their team in South West London.
Position: Adult Social Care Solicitor
Rate: £54,000 - £62,000
Location: South West London (Hybrid - 1 day per week in office)
Work Type: Permanent
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be doing the following in this position:
- Carry an extensive caseload of complex and sensitive matters within Adult Social Care.
- Provide effective and timely legal advice to directors, senior managers and officers across the local authority.
- Where relevant, prepare and process all matters to relevant to any proceedings before court, public enquiries or arbitration.
- Supervise and support junior members of staff.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- An experienced solicitor with background experience with a Local Government.
- Experience in Court of Protection as well as the Care Act and Mental Capacity.
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and non-verbally.
- Able to work effectively under pressure.
