Are you an experienced Brokerage Professional, in Adults Social Care, looking for your next challenge? Our client is looking for a skilled practitioner to join its service, on a temporary basis.
Position: Adult Social Care Procurement & Brokerage Officer
Location: London
Pay rate: £29.97 Umbrella per hour
Purpose:
To support the sourcing and arrangement of care services for adults, helping to secure suitable, person-centred support while achieving value for money.
Job responsibilities:
- Source and arrange care packages and placements across residential, nursing, supported living and community services.
- Liaise with social workers, care providers, health professionals and commissioning teams.
- Negotiate with providers and help secure appropriate services at the right cost.
- Maintain accurate records of placements, costs, vacancies and provider information.
- Monitor service quality and help resolve placement or provider issues.
Essential requirements:
- Experience in Adult Social Care brokerage, procurement, commissioning or placement coordination.
- Good understanding of adult social care services and care provision.
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
- Confident working with providers and a range of internal and external professionals.
- Good IT and administration skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
