Residential Support Worker in Kent

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in the Southeast region are looking for a Residential Support Worker to work in a Children’s home, specifically for UASC.

Position: Residential Support Worker – UASC
Rate: £15.12 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 months

Purpose:

Working with vulnerable individuals who require day to day care, in relation to disabilities, neglect and abuse and challenging behaviours.

Job Responsibilities:

– Assisting children with day to day activities to encourage own decision making, freedom of wishes and encouragement.
– Engage in physical and leisure activities, to meet the needs of young people in relation to physical, emotional and social.
– Implement care plans, behaviour management, risk management and health plans, ensure children are cared for.

Job Requirements:
– Must be a car driver.
– Previous experience working within childrens services, as Residential or Family Support Worker.
– NVQ Level 3, childcare related subject.
– Understanding of OFSTED regulations within Children Homes.
– Enhanced DBS, ideally registered to the update service
