Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced IT Resource Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their information services operations.
Position: IT Resource Manager
Rate: £28.51 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temp (Sep 2026) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Purpose: To deliver effective hybrid resource management across operational and project environments, ensuring optimal workforce planning, utilisation, allocation, and demand forecasting to support Council services, projects and strategic priorities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, forecast and allocate resources across services and programmes.
- Maintain accurate workforce, capacity and resource planning data.
- Provide analysis and reporting on resource usage, shortages, constraints and future demand.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation - Desirable.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, capacity management and resource allocation principles.
- Experience using resource or workforce planning systems.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and project resourcing approaches.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
