Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced Homelessness Prevention Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Homelessness Operations.
Position: Homelessness Prevention Officer
Rate: £19.20 hourly rate (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Work arrangement: Fully onsite
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the Housing Options team to provide support and advice to households to prevent and relieve homelessness and to secure and maintain tenancies.
- Support households who now find themselves homeless or at risk of homelessness by developing relationships with colleagues, partner agencies, housing providers, voluntary agencies and community groups to broaden knowledge of homelessness services and build effective referral routes.
Job Requirements:
- Vehicle and License required
- Enhanced DBS Required
- At least 2 years experience within a Homelessness Prevention Officer or equivalent.
