An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join a growing legal team in Greenwich, London. This role offers exposure to a broad range of corporate transactions and commercial advisory work, with direct client contact and strong opportunities for professional development. The successful candidate will support the Head of Department across a varied caseload involving SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters
  • Supporting share and asset acquisitions/disposals
  • Assisting with corporate restructures and shareholders’ agreements
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including:
    • Consultancy agreements
    • Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
    • Supply agreements
    • Terms & conditions
  • Managing due diligence processes, data rooms, and transaction administration
  • Preparing ancillary documents and Companies House filings
  • Conducting legal research and delivering practical, commercially focused advice
  • Liaising directly with clients, third parties, and professional advisers
  • Assisting with departmental administration, precedents, and process improvements
  • Supporting business development initiatives where required

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • 0–3 years’ PQE in corporate and/or commercial law
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Commercially aware with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to develop professionally

Desirable

  • Experience advising SMEs, owner-managed businesses, or entrepreneurs
  • Exposure to transactional corporate work
  • Interest in developing long-term client relationships
