Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Basingstoke, are looking for an experienced Finance Officer (Accounts Payable) to join their team and play a crucial role within their Housing Operation.
Position: Finance Officer (Accounts Payable)
Rate: £17.66p/h Umbrella
Contract Duration: 2 months with Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices to ensure prompt payment to suppliers while maintaining positive working relationships.
- Actively manage and monitor invoices awaiting approval on a weekly basis, ensuring workflow tasks are re-distributed as required and rejection reasons investigated and resolved promptly.
- Ensuring those suppliers paid by direct debit have invoices processed in a timely manner to allocate to the bank statement entry and keep ledgers accurate.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience of working within a fast-paced Accounts Payable team – with high volume invoicing.
- Previous experience working as a Finance Officer or similar role.
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
