Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, an Accountancy, who are looking for an Audit Senior to join their team in Essex.
Position: Audit Senior
Rate: £45,000
Location: Essex (Hybrid)
Work Type: Permanent
Job Description
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Plan and finalise audits for a portfolio of clients.
- Lead on site teams and provide guidance to junior staff colleagues.
- Manage budgets and deadlines, taking ownership of ensuring an efficient delivery of audit areas.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, providing communication at all times.
- Review files before director or managerial review, ensuring these are complete and correct.
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (candidates within 6 months of completion will be considered).
- Knowledge of FRS102 and ISA's.
- Experience of leading audits from planning to completion.
- Strong communicator and able to mentor others.
