Our client, based in South Yorkshire, is looking for a Plan Coordinator to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Position: EHCP Caseworker / Plan Coordinator
Rate: £250 per day
Contract Duration: Ongoing / Temporary
Purpose: Manage and deliver SEND processes, ensuring Education, Health and Care Plans are completed and reviewed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate EHCP processes across a caseload
- Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and Code of Practice
- Work with families, schools, and professionals to co-produce plans
- Prepare reports and casework for panels, tribunals, and reviews
- Monitor performance and support service improvements
Job Requirements:
- Experience working within SEND services
- Knowledge of SEND legislation and Code of Practice
- Experience working with families and multi-agency partners
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and meet deadlines
- Enhanced DBS required
