Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced EHC Coordinator to join their team and play a crucial role in their EHC operations.
Position: EHC Coordinator
Rate: Β£307.64 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (Oct 2026) Possible Extension
Purpose:
- The EHCCo is responsible for coordinating the statutory Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process for children and young people aged 0β25, ensuring that the Council meets its legal duties under the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
- Working under the supervision of a Special Needs Officer and attend supervision and casework oversight as required.
- Follow local escalation routes via the SNO or ATM and record decisions clearly.
- Act as the main point of contact for their allocated cases.
- Experience of working in similar role within an LA β 12 months minimum ideally longer to experience the whole cycle.
- Must have experience carrying out 20 week assessment work.
- Must have experience completing annual reviews.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
