Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Local Authority, are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their Property operations.
Position: Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £52,261
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Purpose:
- Working collaboratively in the delivery of the day-to-day quantity surveying function, while contributing to continuous service improvement to maximise the social and financial return from our assets, ensuring financial control and monitoring throughout.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and administer contracts, valuations, variations, certifications, and final accounts.
- Support procurement and tendering activities, including preparation of tender documentation and pricing schedules.
- Monitor contract performance, project completions, cashflow, budgets, and commercial outcomes.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess project progress and commercial performance.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Experience working in a Quantity Surveyor or similar role
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle essential.
