Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Law Firm, who are looking for an Education Solicitor to join their team on a Fully Remote basis.
Position: Education Solicitor
Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience
Location: Fully Remote
Work Type: Permanent
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Handle a range of matters involving SEN, EHCPs, exclusions and education related disputes.
- Taking client instructions and providing advice across a range of education law matters.
- Representing clients at SEND Tribunal hearings and other proceedings.
- Agreeing fees with clients in advance of billing.
- Maintain up-to-date case records in compliance with firm policies and SRA standards.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3-5 years PQE (candidates a few years above this will be considered).
- Previous experience of both advising and representing clients in education matters.
- Have a proactive approach to business development and build professional relationships.
- Strong communication, both verbally and non-verbally.
