Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local housing association, are looking for an experienced Domiciliary Care Service Manager to join their team and play a crucial role within their domiciliary care operations.

Position: Domiciliary Care Service Manager

Rate: Β£32,000-34,850 per annum (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Contract Duration: Permanent

Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Job Purpose: As the Registered Manager, to take responsibility and proactive actions in maintaining and ensuring standards of care within the service are compliant with CQC regulations, the Health and Social Care Act.

Job Duties:

  • As the Registered Manager to be responsible for understanding and complying with statutory and legal requirements relevant throughout the service, including health and safety legislation.
  • To ensure the emotional, spiritual, physical, medical and material needs of service users are recognised, assessed and where possible met through the effective formulation and review of care plans in liaison with colleagues, other health and social care professionals and family members/loved ones as appropriate.
  • To maintain proactive leadership and completion of all care audits in line with best practice including being responsible for developing and implementing action plans to secure continuous improvements.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • A recognised degree or professional qualification in health/social care e.g., Level 4 Diploma – Leadership for Health and Social Care.
  • Significant experience of managing a care service for adults with complex needs.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
