JOB ROLE
You will represent clients facing criminal charges, giving them legal advice, advocacy and support throughout the criminal justice process
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Maintaining accurate case records and meeting all deadline
- Negotiating with the prosecution on pleas and charges where appropriate
- Preparing and reviewing statements, evidence and case files to build each client’s defence
- Keeping up to date with changes in criminal law
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- A qualified solicitor
- Strong communication skills
- An understanding of criminal law
- Confidence working independently and with a team
