Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Leicestershire, are looking for an experienced Commissioning Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Commissioning Operations
Role: Commissioning Officer
Pay: £29.92 ph Umbrella
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract Length: 3 months rolling
Location: Leicestershire
Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Compliance: Ensures service commissioning and sourcing activities comply with the Procurement Act 2023 and local Contract Procedure Rules
- Service Areas: Works across key divisions including Children & Family Services and Adult Social Care
- Contract Management: Coordinates service requests, monitors provider performance, evaluates outcomes, and drives value for money for the council.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
- Experience working in a Commissioning Officer or similar role
- Driving License + Vehicle Access
