Are you eager to land a brand new role for the New Year? Our client, a busy local authority in North West London, are looking for an IT Security Manager to join their ICT operations.
Job Role: IT Security Manager
Contract: March 2026 (Possibly Extended)
Location: North West London
Rate of Pay: £700 a day umbrella (Inside IR35)
Main duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead technical vulnerability assessments of IT systems and processes, identifying potential vulnerabilities, to make recommendations to control any risks identified.
- Lead and respond rapidly to IT security incidents, including computer forensics for evidence gathering and preservation.
- Oversee information and Cyber security risk register and carry out actions to mitigate risks identified.
- Liaise with external security agencies where required and ensure that any information requested is provided on a timely and secure basis.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience working at a senior level in an ICT environment includes 2 years experience in the management of staff or projects.
- Professional Management qualification.
- Able to make complex decisions and prioritise the teams workload to deliver improved outcomes in line with the IT Services strategy.
- Advanced in using IT service management tools to accurately capture data relating to ITIL processes.
