Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Law Firm, who are looking for a Child Care Solicitor to join their team in Lancashire.
Position: Child Care Solicitor
Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience
Location: Lancashire (Hybrid)
Work Type: Permanent
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Provide expert advice to parents, other family members, interveners and children.
- Work on a varied range of care work including Emergency and Police Protections orders, Care and Supervision orders, Special Guardianship Orders, Adoption orders and more.
- Oversee due diligence and make preparations for court such as court bundles.
- Develop the department by generating new business and provide guidance/supervision to other team members.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE.
- Previous experience within child care (essential) and own advocacy (desirable).
- Strong communicator, verbally and non-verbally.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
