Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy public sector client in Chester, are looking for an experienced Electrician to join their team and play a crucial role within their housing remedial operations.

Position: Electrician

Rate: Negotiable (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Contract Duration: Temporary (Dec 2026) Possible Extension

Working Arrangement: Onsite

Job Purpose: EICR and Remedial work to be completed. To provide an effective maintenance and repairs service that meets contract and customer expectations.

Job Duties:

  • Carry out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications.
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations, in accordance with contract and service specifications.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience as an Electrician (Part P and 17th Edition preferred).
  • Full, current Driving Licence.
  • Current Certificate to BS2391 or equivalent standard in testing and inspection.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
