Are you looking for a new role? I am currently working with a Children EBD Service to permanently recruit a Registered Manager, based in Lancashire.

Position: Registered Manager

Rate: up to £63,000 per annum (DOE)

Contract Type: Permanent

Purpose: Lead a home where children feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for by building a strong team, creating stability, and making a difference in young people's lives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day to day running of the home
  • Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for children and young people
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the residential care team
  • Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding standards, and company policies
  • Oversee care quality, compliance, staff performance, and service development
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, social workers, and other professionals
  • Drive the home towards strong inspection outcomes and continuous improvement

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years in a senior role within children's EBD care
  • Previous leadership or management experience within a children's home
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and residential care standards
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Hold Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or willingness to complete
  • Full UK driving license
