Are you an experienced Occupational Therapy Team Manager looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a suitably qualified professional to support the OT Team.
Rate: £43 per hour
Contract: Temporary – 3 months initially
Purpose of the Role
You will support Occupational Therapy staff across the North, ICE and South Locality teams, overseeing assessments, equipment provision and complex moving and handling cases.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support OT staff across the locality teams.
- Oversee Care Act assessments, reviews and integrated health and social care working.
- Authorise equipment and chair equipment panels, providing oversight of complex moving and handling and postural assessments.
- Apply relevant health and safety legislation and guidance to equipment provision and assessment practice.
Requirements
- Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification with social care or healthcare experience.
- Previous team management or supervisory experience within an OT service.
- Experience of Care Act assessments, moving and handling and postural assessments.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including MHOR 1992, LOLER, PUWER and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
