Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South West England, are looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Works Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Construction Operation.
Position: Landscape Construction Works Officer
Rate: £23.29 p/h Umbrella
Contract Duration: 6 months possible extension
Working Arrangement: On-Site
Job Duties:
- Provide and record evidence of observed concerns, snagging defects, non-conformity notices, agreed amendments to specifications, drawings, remeasures, claims for additional costs on behalf of the project lead.
- Supporting the delivery of public parks infrastructure, soft landscape and children’s play facility projects.
- The position requires visiting parks and green spaces to monitor construction works progress and sign off on quality. This is not a daily occurrence however.
Job Requirements:
- Hold Construction Management L4 HNC.
- Experience of new construction / maintenance and repair of external infrastructure.
- Hold full current UK driving licence.
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
